DIZO, the first consumer technology brand of Chinese smartphone maker Realme, appointed Abhilash Panda as chief executive officer (CEO) and spokesperson for DIZO India on Friday.
Panda joined DIZO India from the local e-commerce marketplace Flipkart, where he served as Director of Mobile Phones.

According to industry tracking agency International Data Corporation (IDC) data, driven by demand during the pandemic, India’s wearable device market in the first quarter of 21 years with a strong growth rate of 170.3% per year, with shipments of 11.4 million units.
The watch category grew by 463.8% year-on-year and became the fastest growing category in wearable devices. While wristbands category (bracelets and watches) increased by 74.8% year-on-year.
The hearing aid category also achieved a triple-digit growth of 209.3% in the first quarter of 2021.
It is worth noting that the true wireless stereo (TWS) category increased by 284.4% year-on-year. The share in the general hearing aid category is 35.0%. It is led by boAt, while OnePlus took second place, mainly supported by OnePlus Buds Z.
