Meanwhile, airing after a month and a half after Dexter: New Blood’s first episode, the series registered 8.2 million viewers.
Showtime’s President of Entertainment Gary Levine stated back in December that Dexter: New Blood is a limited series and further discussion of Dexter will be awaited until the limited series airing is wrapped up. He further added that they will need to see where after the conclusion, the series’ stories and characters stand. Levine concluded that Dexter: New Blood was planned to draw a perfect conclusion to the series and he believes they will do it in the best possible way!
