Season of Plunder, the new name for Season 18 of Destiny 2, has officially started, bringing new missions, regular events, and the Arc 3.0 subclass upgrade to the game. From August 23 until December 6, the new season pass is valid.

Aramis has escaped her icy prison after being beaten in the Beyond Light expansion and frozen by her Stasis abilities. Aramis, who is currently free, has enlisted the aid of legendary Eliksni pirate lords to help her locate powerful artifacts that have been lost. You’ll need to gather a crew, take those relics, and explore new, unexplored parts of the solar system before you can stop her.

You and your fellow Guardians now engage in spaceship-to-spaceship warfare in the new six-player activity Ketchcrash as you wreck devastation on Aramis and her pirate crews. In this brand-new three-player activity, you’ll find treasure maps, dig for loot, and bring it back to your ship while avoiding enemy pirate crews.

In Season of the Plunder, more than 20 new and resurfacing weapons have appeared. You have lots of reasons to visit the Relic because many of these can be made, just as the Bungie 30th Anniversary weapons that were added last year.

The renowned action from the first Destiny’s Taken King expansion, the King’s Fall Raid is back this week and is free for all players. Although it will essentially play the same, Bungie has made some changes, and as a prize, it’s expected to include a returning Exotic weapon.
