Delhi Capitals defeated the Punjab Kings on Wednesday at Brabourne Stadium, completely demolishing them in terms of both batting and bowling. It was a ridiculously easy win for the Capitals as they defeated their opponent with 9 wickets, and chased down the total with 57 balls left. The DC bowlers were simply impressive in their bowling against the Punjab Kings. Not only did all the bowlers except Shardul Thakur pick up wickets, but everyone one of them was economical too, which helped the Capitals limit the Kings within 115. Khaleel Ahmed, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, and Lalit Yadav picked up 2 wickets each, and Mustafizur Rahman got one.
Impressive Opening partnership but the DC openers
The Delhi Capitals’ openers were furious from the start of the second innings, as both Prithvi Shaw and David Warner started to fire over the PBKS bowlers. Both of them played with massive strike rates of 200 and beyond that. The former one scored 41 of 20 balls with 7 fours and a six, and the latter one scored 60 of 30 balls with 10 fours and one six.
