During a panel at SXSW, Hideo Kojima officially announced that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be released on June 26 exclusively for PlayStation 5. While there is no confirmation yet, a PC and Xbox launch is highly likely in the future since Kojima Productions now owns the franchise. The announcement was accompanied by a brand new 10-minute trailer, giving fans a closer look at the sequel. Game pre-orders will open on March 17 through the PlayStation Store, and the standard edition will cost $69.99, and a Digital Deluxe Edition will cost $79.99.
