Delhi Capitals dominated the orange army Sunrisers Hyderabad in a high scoring match, where DC secured two crucial points, with the joint effort of the players. DC batted first, and made up 207 for the loss of only 3 wickets credit goes to ex-SRH star David Warner and Rovman Powell, and coming to bowl in the second innings, the Capitals limited the orange army within 186 and took 8 of their batsmen. Here are 3 factors to consider from the match, which lead DC to pick up the win against SRH.

    David Warner firing on SRH

Ex-SRH captain, David Warner just fired over Sunrisers Hyderabad, by playing a brilliant inning of 92 from 58 balls with 12 fours and 3 sixes, with a strike rate of 158.62. Mandeep Singh came to open to Warner, though he was out soon, without scoring. From that position, Warner played till the end and took his team to a giant score of 207.

    Rovman Powell’s Power

West Indian power-hitter Rovman Powell played a muscular knock of 67 of 35 deliveries with 3 fours and 6 sixes, with a strike rate of 191.43, which also played a massive role in taking DC above 207, along with David Warner. Though chasing 207 isn’t a big deal in modern-day T20 cricket, especially in the Indian Premier League, the powerful and impactful hard-hitting by Powell just demolished the mindset of the orange army.

    Bowlers doing their job

In the end, the DC bowlers did their job, by successfully defending the total. They dismissed the top order of SRH soon, and all the DC bowlers picked up wickets, though some of them were a bit economical. Only Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran played well for SRH, scoring 42 of 25, and 62 of 34 respectively, but was still not enough to take SRH past the victory line.
