The Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly unhappy and worried about his club Manchester United’s present transfer window strategy.
In recent times, the English Premier League club Manchester United, who have won the record England’s first division title (20 times), have struggled in the transfer windows. The fans are now more furious with the club after the Red Devils’ disastrous performances in the last season.
Manchester United haven’t signed a new player yet this transfer window
However, there is a strong belief that the Man United will be back on its feet in the new season under the new manager Erik ten Hag. But while most of the top other clubs have aggressively started to work in the ongoing summer transfer window, Man United haven’t seen the same effectiveness in this new transfer window yet.
The Red Devils’ have stuck in the dealing process with Barcelona’s Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong. There is also still no light on the recently reported contact with the Danish attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen. In the meantime, Man United’s other target Uruguayan forward Darwin Nunez was recently comfortably snatched by their arch-rivals Liverpool.
Cristiano Ronaldo wants better transfer window action from the club
The 37-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo, who returned to Manchester United last summer and finished that season as their leading goal-scorer (24 goals), is expectedly very unhappy with the club’s recent attitude in the ongoing summer transfer window.
According to some recent media reports, Ronaldo is worried about Man United’s present weak status in the transfer window.
Despite Man United’s failure to qualify for the UEFA Champions League 2022/23, Ronaldo is considering serving for the Red Devils this season, which is his final season according to the present contract that was signed during his Old Trafford return last summer. But the club’s present activities in the transfer window have reportedly raised “doubts” about his determination to stay in the club.
Some of the players from the previous season have already left Old Trafford. Some of them are Edinson Cavani, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic etc. In the meantime, Manchester United is still waiting for their first sign this summer.
