The PC accessory manufacturer released the Voyager a1600 through Best Buy and the Corsair website. Customers can also request one with a personalized backplate through Corsair’s Origin division.

The Voyager 1600 is a high-end computer with cutting-edge capabilities that is made for gamers, content producers, and streamers. One of them is the 16-inch IPS screen, which features a 2,560-by-1,600 resolution and a fast 240Hz refresh rate.

Additionally, the laptop’s aluminum construction has an LCD-powered display below the primary screen that has 10 programmed shortcut keys, though owners can choose to turn the display off. The laptop’s RGB-lit keyboard employs Cherry MX ultra-low profile switches as well for a gratifying typing experience akin to a mechanical keyboard.

A 1080p30 web camera, four in-built noise-canceling microphones, an SDXC card reader, and Wi-Fi 6E are additional benefits. Owners can expect six to eight hours of “silent mode” use on a single charge; the battery is changeable. The battery life will only last two to three hours in the severe mode for rapid frame rates.

Additionally, the Corsair laptop has two USB 4.0 ports that support Thunderbolt 3, one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port, and one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A port.

The AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS, an 8-core, 16-thread CPU processor with a maximum clock speed of 4.4GHz, is the processor included in the $2,699 model. The laptop has an AMD Radeon RX 6800M mobile GPU for graphics.

The $2,999 option, which features AMD’s Ryzen 9 6900HS processor, is available to those searching for a little bit more CPU power. Even though the CPU still has 8 cores and 16 threads, its top clock speed can exceed 4.8GHz.

The GPU is the same, but the $2,999 version includes twice as much DDR5 RAM (at 32GB) and twice as much PCIe 4.0 NVME SSD storage (2TB).

Windows 11 Home or the more expensive Windows 11 Pro are both compatible with both computers. In a Livestream on Thursday, the business added that while it is now concentrating on selling Voyager a1600 models powered by AMD, it may eventually broaden the notebook to include Intel and Nvidia components.
