    Commonwealth Games 2022: India’s incredible performance at CWG this year

    India has had an eventful performance at CWG 2022. On the final day of the event, India won four gold medals and has a total of 61 medals this year. The men’s double pair, Chirag Shetty and Satwik Reddy and Lakshay Sen won gold in Badminton along with Achanta Sharath on Monday.

    G Sathiyan managed to bag a bronze as well. India won a total of 61 medals and finished at the fourth position. Australia is at the top.

    Earlier, Ravi Dahiya, Vinesh Phogat, and Naveen won gold at CWG 2022. Bhavina Patel also won gold in women’s singles final. Priyanka also got India its first medal as she bagged silver in the women’s 10km racewalking on Saturday. Avinash Sable also bagged a silver medal in Men’s 3000m steeplechase. India’s Men’s Four Bowls team added a silver as well.

    The Women’s Lawn Bowls team won their first ever Gold Medal On Tuesday. Vikas Thakur bagged a silver medal in Men’s 96kg category in weightlifting. Mirabai Chanu won the first Gold on Saturday. Jeremy Lalrinnunga and Achinta Sheuli also added two medals to the cart. The boxing category was a hit this year as the boxers won a total of 7 medals including three gold medals.

    The Indian Women’s team in cricket got defeated by Australia and had to settle for a silver. On the last day, PV Sindhu bagged her first gold in Badminton in singles.
