Reports state that Chelsea is in talks with the Catalan giants, i.e., Barcelona FC as they are highly interested in their player Pierre Emerick Aubameyang. Chelsea is looking forward to closing the deal before the summer transfer window closes. The club has already gained the services of Raheem Sterling , however Thomas Tuchel is very eager to sign in another forward player to their club, and they are indeed in need of a one, following the departure of Romelu Lukaku.
What Pierre Emerick Aubameyang wants?
Pierre Emerick Aubameyang joined Barcelona in this year only, which was in February, and sources verify that he wasn’t to stay at Camp Nou. However, he is a player, that would be willing to move on for raising funds and for registering their new signings. Reporter Fabrizio Romano stated that Chelsea has identified Pierre Emerick Aubameyang as a new potential who could satisfy their needs and he is a good striker as well, hence contacted Barcelona for negotiations.
Todd Boehly in talks with Camp Nou
Todd Boehly who is the new owner of Chelsea was earlier in talks with the chiefs of Barcelona this summer regarding the potential transfers. However, the Premier League giants have not yet made an official offer for Pierre Emerick Aubameyang. Though Tuchel has a close relationship with the former Arsenal captain from their time since Dortmund and based on that, Chelsea could use that advantage they have.
The Chelsea owner will also push to get the deal confirmed soon, especially before the window closes. And he is also ready to deliver everything that Tuchel asks for, which includes positions that are – forward, midfielder, left back, right back, and center back. Though, one thing which should also be kept in mind is that, Todd Boehly hasn’t been very successful in the present summer transfer window so far, not being able to get what he wanted.
