Charles Lecrec brings 800 podium finishes to Ferrari
Indeed it was a day of redemption for Charles Lecrec as he not only secured the second position but also brought an incredible milestone to Ferrari as they clocked an overall 800 podium finish in Austria. Ferrari hasn’t been able to perform at the heights of its power for a decent time now, so much so that it has been 16 years and four regulation changes since the team last won a championship. However, that doesn’t take away the rich legacy of this illustrious tree, the seed of which was sown more than 75 years ago by Enzo Ferrari.

Following the race, Leclerc gave his reaction on a wonderful result, and surely an awaited one. He said that Friday and that day, they had maximized what they had. It is good o be back on the podium. The upgrades made him feel better. The team has done an excellent job in bringing the upgrades earlier, he added.
