    Australian GP: Charles Leclerc Wins Australian GP, Sergio Perez Holds on to P2 as George Russell Concludes P3 to Receive First Podium in Mercedes

    Charles Leclerc achieves the Australian Grand Prix. After they are Sergio Perez and George Russell in second and third position respectively. Following this victory, Charles Leclerc became the first driver after Hamilton to secure a win from pole position. Back in the 2015 Australian Grand Prix., Hamilton climbed up the said feat. Max Verstappen, Sebastian Vettel, and Carlos Sainz were the ones to not finish the race.

    Charles Leclerc Wins Australian GP

    Charles Leclerc had a smooth win in the Australian GP and stretched his lead at the front in the points table. The second place was grabbed by Red Bull’s Sergio Perez and George Russell came third in his Mercedes W13 challenger. He was on the podium for the first time wearing his Mercedes outfit. Lewis Hamilton was fourth and ultimately, Mercedes had a great time in the office. 

    Both the McLarens concluded in the points today as Lando Norris got the fifth position and Ricciardo in his home race managed to grab the sixth place. Esteban Ocon in his Alpine outfit managed seventh place followed by Valtteri Bottas in the eighth position. Alpha Tauri’s Pierre Gasly got the ninth position and Alex Albon finished tenth. He started the race in the twentieth position.

    Guanyu Zhou finished at eleventh while Lance Stroll, starting the place at ninth, could manage the twelfth spot. The names from thirteenth to sixteenth place are Mick Schumacher, Kevin Magnussen, Yuki Tsunoda, and Nicholas Latifi respectively. Fernando Alonso came seventeenth. 

    Carlos Sainz was the first name to drop out of the race. Unable to handle his F1-75 car, he went onto the gravel. It was the end of the initial part of the race itself. 

    Vettel, who returned after two races to start the Australian GP, didn’t have a decent outing. He was unable to keep up with his car and spotted DNF next to his name. He spun himself on the track and was eliminated.
