On July 27, the mid-season update for Call of Duty Season 4: Mercenaries of Fortune will be released, introducing Terminator skins, a new map for Vanguard, and a live event for the Fortune’s Keep level in Warzone. Here we highlight all new information released for Season 4 Reloaded, a zombie and mercenary-themed television series.
One final weapon and operator will be included to the Mercenaries of Fortune midseason update. Ikenna Olowe is the final operator for Season 4’s Special Operations Task Force 009: Immortal to be presented. The Vargo-S is defined as an assault rifle with a rapid fire rate.
Two limited-edition Terminator cosmetic bundles will be part of Season 4 Reloaded and will be usable in Vanguard and Warzone. The T-800 Terminator skin will be part of one bundle, while the T-1000 model will be in the other. Both skins are replicas of their film equivalents from Terminator 2: Judgment Day, which debuted in 1991.
The live “Cursed Ground” public event is already accessible to enjoy on Season 4’s Fortune’s Keep map, indicating that Warzone is getting things started early. The island has several “cursed chests” buried all around it. These unique boxes, which can only be unlocked by successfully completing a zombie killing event, contain power-ups and premium goodies.
As soon as the event starts, zombies will keep popping up close to the cursed treasure. To gather Wisps, players will want to kill them close to the chest. The event will be finished and awards, including money, killstreaks, gear, and the opportunity to receive perk tokens, will be awarded if enough wisps are harvested within the allotted time.
Players can anticipate a brief “Rebirth of the Dead” zombie-themed mode for Warzone’s Rebirth Island when Season 4 Reloaded launches on July 27.
Rebirth of the Dead, according to Activision, is a revamped version of Warzone’s previous Zombie Royale mode. 10 quads will be dropped onto Rebirth Island in this mode, where they must fight off both the living and the dead. Players who are eliminated come back as zombies, same like in Zombie Royale. By finding and gathering four antivirals, zombie players can change back into humans.
With the upcoming Titanium Trials: Endurance mode, which appears to be themed to match the new Terminator operator bundles, Warzone is giving the well-liked Iron Trials mode a new twist.
The maximum base armor barrier will increase to 300 hit points in order to “simulate the toughness of a Terminator model,” according to Activision. For quicker armor repairs, the Tempered perks will spawn more frequently as ground treasure. With core health regeneration taking longer and each player starting the game with a Self-Revive Kit, Titanium Trials is a high-skill, high time-to-kill game mode.
The main Caldera map for the battle royale will have new mobility features. Players love Warzone’s Redeploy Balloons, and with Season 4 Reloaded, there will be an additional method to soar back into the skies.
A brand-new field enhancement that may be acquired through contracts or loot is the Portable Redeploy Balloon. Similar to the stationary balloons on the map, these will allow players to redeploy into the sky, but now they can carry one around and deploy it anywhere.
For the mid-season update to Vanguard, a new multiplayer map will be included. A medium-sized map called Desolation is described as being situated in a maze-like community that has been carved out of a mountainside. There will be space to go across rooftops and walkways above the town, as well as meandering lanes and cramped shacks on the lower floor for close-quarters combat. The content for Vanguard’s Season 4 Reloaded update was sparse despite the Warzone zombie themes, as no updates were mentioned for the Zombies mode.
