    Brazil wins 3-0 against Venezuela in their first Copa America 2021 match

    Brazil faced Venezuela in the inaugural match of Copa America 2021, which is being hosted by Brazil after many obstacles. The inaugural match was played at the Mane Garrincha stadium in Brasilia. The final will be on July 10 at the Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro, one of the COVID-19 epicentres in Brazil, where more than 480,000 have died from the coronavirus.

    On Sunday night Brazil won the match by 3-0 against Venezuela. They won the match by three goals from these players Marquinhos, Neymar and Gabriel Barbosa.

    At first, Neymar Jr, Richarlison and Eder Militao was frustrated by the good performance of the opponent team Venezuela. In the 23rd minute, Neymar’s corner kick fell in the path of the Marquinhos, and he scored a goal. They all attempted shots to score goals against Venezuela, but Venezuelan goalkeeper Joel Graterol saved the shots to stop them from scoring.

    Danilo was fouled, and Neymar got the chance to score a goal from the penalty spot and gave his country a 2-0 lead. Venezuelan goalkeeper Joel Graterol dived on the wrong side. Neymar scored his 67th international goal, and now he is 10 goals away from the legendary football player Pele. Pele has scored 77 goals for Brazil, which is a record.

    Gabriel Barbosa came on as a substitute and he netted the goal in the 89th minute which was enough for Brazil to win the match 3-0.

    Brazil will now face Peru on 18th June at 5:30 am IST.
