    The movie Black Panther has become a blockbuster hit in the theatres, therefore they have called for a second installment of the film. After three years we have been told what the name of the second film will be, although there is still a while to go before it hits theatres.

    But the death of Chadwick Boseman is heartbreaking, the star of the Black Panther Film, which was released in August 2020. Although Chadwick is no more the fans are still excited nonetheless. The second installment is going to have a different feel.

    Title

    The official title of the second film has been announced. The title of the upcoming second instalment of the Black Panther film is “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”. Those who have watched the first film should remember the battle cry called “Wakanda Forever” which was made famous by Boseman’s character, T’Challa.

    Will Chadwick Boseman appear in the film?

    Disney, the parent company of Marvel, has used CGI to bring the likes of deceased actors Peter Cushing and Carrie Fisher back to life in the ‘Star Wars’ series, but Marvel has no plans to do this with Chadwick Boseman.

    Marvel head Kevin Feige has told to Deadline, “We’re not going to have a CG [computer generated] Chadwick and we’re not recasting T’Challa.”

    Cast

    The second edition of the film Black Panther titled Black Panther: Wakanda Forever stars a large portion of the original cast who have appeared in the first film it includes Letitia Wright (T’Challa’s sister, Shuri), Lupita Nyong’o (Nakia), Angela Bassett (T’Challa’s mother, Ramonda), Martin Freeman (Everett K. Ross), Winston Duke (M’Baku) and Danai Gurira (Okoye).

    Meanwhile, recent Oscar winner Daniel Kaluuya (W’Kabi) and Michael B. Jordan (Erik Killmonger) are both yet to confirm whether they will appear in the film or not. Of the two, Kaluuya has sounded the most positive.

    Release Date

    Many have already expected the release date of the film to be years away. The second instalment of the movie Black Panther titled Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is all set for its release in the theatres from 8th July 2022.
