The first-ever Fallout Day Broadcast is coming from developer Bethesda on October 23, 2024. So far, it has been a big year for the Fallout franchise and the broadcast aims to provide fans with updates on upcoming content for Fallout 76. Fallout is a franchise that has recently skyrocketed into popularity, having originated in the late 1990s.
Fallout Day Broadcast Announced
Demand had been on the up since Bethesda took it over in the early 2000s, but soared again after Amazon’s Fallout TV show became successful which apparently catapulted active player numbers to some five times previous levels, particularly through planks like Xbox Game Pass. That’s led Bethesda to host the Fallout Day Broadcast, as it realizes that its audience is expanding.
Fan requests have turned the tide of cut features coming back to Fallout 76, and we will soon be reunited with a previously axed mechanic when Gleaming Depths launches in December 2024. It will kick off at 3:00 PM EST on October 23, coinciding with “Fallout Day” in the game world wherein humanity sought shelter in a series of underground vaults during an apocalypse.
A talk from Fallout 76 developers Jon Rush and Bill LaCoste will provide fresh perspectives on their ongoing work. Fans can also look forward to hearing about a long-awaited addition to the C.A.M.P feature: pets.
