Bell Bottom is an espionage thriller-based movie. It is directed by Ranjit M Tewari and written by Aseem Arora and Parveez Shaikh. The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani, and its production companies are Pooja Entertainment and Emmay Entertainment.
Bell Bottom is a newly released film based on true events, and it is a story of the 1980’s era about some unforgettable heroes. It was the first Bollywood movie that started shooting in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, during which shooting was stopped in India. Its official announcement was made in November 2019 with a release date of Republic Day 2021. But due to the pandemic, its release date has also been postponed. The filming of the movie was wrapped up on 30th September in London.

The movie Bell Bottom starring Akshay Kumar has released in theatres on 27th July 2021.
Akshay has posted on his social media handles a clip of his character of a RAW agent walking past a board with the release date written on it. His caption read, “I know you have patiently waited for the release of #Bellbottom. Couldn’t be happier to finally announce the release of our film. Arriving on the big screens worldwide #BellBottomOn27July.”
OTT Release Date
After its theatrical release, the makers of the movie named Bell Bottom starring Akshay Kumar have made an announcement that the espionage thriller is going to be released digitally on Amazon Prime Video on 16th September 2021.
Akshay Kumar has said in a statement, “After getting the theatres going, it is time to take this story to more people, and what better way to do that than releasing BellBottom on Amazon Prime Video; with a reach of 240+ countries and territories, I am hoping this tale of an unsung hero reaches audiences far and wide.”

While the director of the movie Ranjit M Tewari has said that he was happy that Bell Bottom is arriving on Amazon Prime Video as it is the perfect mix of an interesting plot and a credit ensemble cast.

The producer of the film Jackky Bhagnani has also said that the audience has increasingly accepted the action thrillers on an OTT platform, and hence BellBottom’s digital release is perfectly timed.

I am very happy to have collaborated with Amazon Prime Video to release the film digitally which could help us reach over 240 countries and territories worldwide,” Jackky said.
