Reports have stated that Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have once again said to have engaged in another deal, and this time it is for a Portuguese international, who plays for the Premier League club. The relationship between these two giants hasn’t been so smooth, especially involving the deal for Frenchman Antoine Griezmann. However, sources have verified that this is exactly not the case, but these two clubs are primarily working on two operations, before the summer transfer window that is going to open soon.

And from that two operations, one could probably be seen with the likes of Joao Felix, who hasn’t been seen much for Madrid on the pitch, this season. The Catalan giants even tried of signing Felix earlier on, during Griezmann’s move, but Madrid was able to keep their attacking midfielder with the deal of 120 million euros.

Atletico Madrid looking to sell players right now

However, things have altered at present, with Atletico Madrid looking forward to selling players, following their elimination from the UEFA Champions League, and they missed out Europa League too. In addition to that, Madrid is certainly in a position to sell players, for generating income, and Barcelona is a great admirer of the midfielder, which could probably ease Madrid’s work.

    Joao Felix in this regard

Though Joao Felix didn’t say anything about his move to any other club, he himself stated that he wasn’t very happy with his position at the present club, as he is unable to contribute to his team, and isn’t getting a chance for the same.

On the other hand, Memphis Depay from Barcelona might leave the club at the start of the next year, hence there will be a vacancy for Joao Felix and the situation is likely to get sorted without problems created.
