Disney Plus Hotstar is ready to stream the psychological thriller series Blood. The popular show is the adaptation of the Award-winning Irish program of the exact title. It will belong to director Mihir Desai, with Gurmeet Singh collaborating with him as the showrunner.

Namit Sharma, the CEO of Dreamers & Doers Co., stated that Blood is a quintessential universal story, where fractured family dynamics are seen coming out to play with the matriarch’s death as a trigger. He further added that their showrunner Gurmeet Singh and director Mihir Desai have planned the series with massive passion and care and that they couldn’t be more proud of it. He concluded, “dark, delicious and deceptive: Blood is a family drama like no other.”
