KUNOS Simulazioni has confirmed an open-world map for Assetto Corsa EVO which is due in the Summer of 2025. The update will be incremental, bringing continued updates and fresh content to players. Players with compatible PCs can buy and play the highly-anticipated game starting January 16, 2025, when it first hits Early Access on Steam, which allows users to play and provide developers with feedback during development. Marco Massarutto, the mastermind behind Assetto Corsa EVO, elaborated that the game aims to be a “love letter” to the car world and the petrolhead lifestyle. What this means, according to the game, is that players should be able to dominate every car they drive on the track as well as public roads.
On its initial Early Access launch, Assetto Corsa EVO will include 20 cars and five circuits from four different continents. The full release, which is planned for Fall 2025, will see the game show up with a minimum of 100 cars and 15 tracks that are officially licensed. Free updates that expand the game with more circuits will follow.
