Football fans all over the world are frantically waiting for the huge clash between Arsenal and Manchester City, i.e., between the league leaders and the reigning Premier League champions. The match has primarily organized and was all set to take place on October 19th, but due to some reasons, the game had to be postponed and a new date for the match has been given.
The reason behind the Arsenal vs Man City getting postponed
The game was primarily postponed with the motive of accommodating the Europe League fixture which is getting regulated in the North London side against the Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven. Earlier on the Gunners were scheduled to lock horns against PSV on September 15, i.e., on Thursday, following the passing away of Queen Elizabeth II.
Consequently, the UEFA informed Arsenal regarding the same as they need to complete their Europa games before November 3rd. Or they also have a second option of facing the risk of forfeiting the game against the Dutch giants. For this reason, Arsenal was eventually forced to postpone Premier League matches.

A statement from the Premier League said in this regard that, the EPL has primarily agreed with the decision of UEFA to postpone Arsenal’s match against the defending champions Man City which was earlier organized yesterday. This is to allow Arsenal FC to rearrange the UEFA Europe League match against PSV. This match was scheduled to occur on September 15th, and will eventually take place on October 20th.
Date for Arsenal vs Man City rescheduled?
The English Premier League is yet to announce a rescheduled date for the match between the Gunners and the City. However, reports state that it will be disclosed anytime soon when Arsenal finishes its business with PSV.
