    Apple preparing to launch M2-powered high-end MacBook Pros and Mac Mini models by End of Year

    Later this year, Apple is likely to expand its Mac lineup with high-end MacBook Pros and a Mac mini featuring an M2 silicon processor The 13-inch MacBook Pro and the updated MacBook Air are currently M2 products.

    “Apple will get more momentum from the launch of new Mac minis and high-end MacBook Pros later this year,” he said late on Sunday.

    Instead of undergoing any significant modifications, the new Apple Mac models will feature improved internal specifications.


    Despite supply issues and adverse effects in the June quarter, Apple achieved revenue for Mac of $7.4 billion. Because of supply chain issues and unfavourable currency exchange rates, Mac revenues fell by 10%.

    Apple unveiled a new MacBook Air with its M2 chip last month. “M2 delivers a faster CPU, GPU, and neural engine along with higher memory bandwidth and new capabilities like Pro Res acceleration. And it continues the tremendous pace of innovation in Apple silicon for the Mac,” according to Tim Cook, CEO of Apple.

    Cook acknowledged that the business still has a shortage of Macs but added, “we’re encouraged by the strong response from customers to our incredible lineup”. “iPad, like Mac, continued to see strong demand during the June quarter despite ongoing supply constraints,” the Apple CEO informed.
