1. Yuvraj Singh (India)
Yuvraj Singh, is one of India’s most dangerous cricketers, and among the top left-handers. Yuvraj was quick to gain fame, the left-handed batsman was also named Player of the Tournament at the 2000 World U19 Cup.
In the 2002 series play-offs at Lords, Yuvraj played one of his best shots under pressure against England. However, Yuvraj’s best performance was witnessed at the 2011 World Cup, when India won its second 50-over World Cup and was titled Player of the Tournament.
2. Ravindra Jadeja (India)
Team India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is one of the most valuable cricketers and the core contributor to the Indian team. Jadeja started his training in official cricket at the age of 16, but shortly after his mother’s demise, he almost quit cricket.
However, in 2009, the all-rounder performed very well in the domestic arena and was called up to the Indian national team for the first time and is now a regular member of the Indian national team.
3. David Warner (Australia)
Famous Australian opener David Warner comes from a humble background, who had to work at a supermarket/grocery chain at an early age. He played cricket while working at a chain store to control his expenses.
Although, there’s no record of Warner playing cricket between 2003 and 2007. A year later Warner joined New South Wales and he was soon called up to the national team representing Australia.
4. Daren Sammy (West Indies)
Daren Sammy is arguably one of the most successful West Indies skippers and made his country proud many times on the international stage.
Sammy was selected for his three series in 2004 in New Zealand, Great Britain, and the West Indies. However, his debut match was canceled due to rain and he couldn’t get off to a good start. Under his leadership, Men in Maroon won the T20 World Cup twice, in 2012 and 2016.
5. Eoin Morgan (England)
Eoin Morgan has become one of England’s most successful captains on the international stage. Morgan represented Ireland at the international level before moving to England to continue his professional cricket career.
The Three Lions, led by Morgan, won his 50-over World Championship in 2019. He also led England to the final of his 2016 T20 World Cup but lost by four wickets. Previously, Morgan was part of the England squad, he won the World T20 title in 2010.
