England played a fearless game to win the first test against Pakistan by 74 runs

England’s epic win again Pakistan has been getting them applause worldwide. Fast bowlers like Ollie Robinson and James Anderson scalped four wickets as England had a spectacular victory by 74 runs against Pakistan on Monday in the first test held in Rawalpindi.

Anderson scalped 4/36 and Robinson’s scorecard was 4/50 on the Rawalpindi Stadium pitch as they dismissed Pakistan for 268 runs. The loss was indeed humiliating for the men in green.

The victory enhanced England’s newly adopted “Bazball” cricket, an aggressive style named after head coach Brendon McCullum and gave them a 1-0 lead in the three-Test series.

Ben Stokes, the team’s captain, was also busy throughout the day, applying constant pressure on Pakistan’s hitters with close-set fields and shrewd bowling substitutions.

The victory marks England’s eighth in eight Test matches since McCullum and Stokes were appointed as the team’s new managers in May of this year.

The two teams had a combined score of 1,236 runs in their first innings, with England scoring 657 and Pakistan scoring 579.

England’s fearless style of playing helped them break several records in just one day. They became the first team to pile up 500 runs on the first day of the Test and four of their batter had hit centuries on the same day. It was really hard for the Pakistani bowlers to call wickets. This win has given England a 1-0 lead in the three-match Test series

Using the timing of the declaration, which is now referred to as a “Bazball strategy” in English cricket, the visitors carried out their plan and beat the hosts to earn a prestigious victory.

The value of a wicket is vital, and the batter’s goal is to remain on the field for the longest length of time feasible while scoring runs with risk-free smashes. It is the responsibility of the bowler to attack, get wickets, and advance play.

Through the bazball approach, the outcome has generated a lot of buzz on social media. While England has received a lot of praise, Pakistan has come under fire for losing on a surface that was seen as dead for the whole of the game.
