Luis Suarez, who’s all set to be a free agent in January, bade an emotional farewell to his boyhood club, Nacional de Montevideo, on Sunday. Suarez had a major role in winning the Uruguayan professional soccer league championship for the team that for first time had seen him debuting in 2005.

With teary eyes, the Uruguayan star bade goodbye to his club. He said,
” It’s a goodbye, I’m not going to play here again, but I will return to the club at some point.”
He further continued,
“The time has come and first of all, I want to thank you for everything. As I said some time ago, I was coming back because of you and because I wanted to come back. Each one of you must continue to be proud that we are at a world-class level and people talk about what Nacional’s fans have done, and that is your merit.”
Luis Suarez also thanked his family and teammates with a special mention about Emmanual Gigliotti. The latter will be having the No. 9 back from now on, as that’s what the star striker is leaving.

An emotional Luis Suraze thanked everyone and mentioned he wishes to take memories of everyone including the three amazing beauties i.e., his children that his wife gifted him.
Luis Suarez said it’s a dream come true to see himself become a champion in the jersey with which he came into the world. He’ll now be competing in the 2022 FIFA Qatar Worldcup with Uruguay before heading ahead with his future decision.
The striker has initially mentioned that he desires to get back to a European league, an MLS move is not totally out of consideration, especially in case his dearest friend Lionel Messi is doing the same.
