Today’s first-time users of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II may have discovered there isn’t a playlist for hardened gamers. The new playlist will be released by Infinity Ward later this year, therefore it’s not an error.
Infinity Ward said the mode, which is known as Tier 1 in Modern Warfare II rather than the Hardcore moniker from earlier games, will launch at the beginning of Season 01. With the release of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, this season officially begins on November 16.
Comparing the Tier 1 playlist to ordinary multiplayer, it provides a “more difficult experience.” Less HUD content and less health are available to players. Also active is friendly fire. The setup is the same as in previous matches when the Hardcore playlist was used.
In addition, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will get a “fan favorite” map for multiplayer and Spec Ops missions when Season 01 launches in November.
The first-ever raids in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will debut on December 14 after Season 01 Reloaded. Today sees the release of yet another new multiplayer map, as well as the first post-launch update for Warzone 2.0.
The console and PC versions of Modern Warfare II are now available, and players have already observed that Xbox and PC have forced cross-play but PlayStation does not. Additionally, players have voiced their opinions about the new, crowded highway map, which is causing controversy among the player base.
