AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, Ryzen 9 7900X, Ryzen 7 770X and Ryzen 5 7600X details leaked online

The next AMD Ryzen 7000 Desktop CPUs, which comprise the Ryzen 9 7950X, Ryzen 9 7900X, Ryzen 7 7700X, and Ryzen 5 7600X, have reportedly been leaked and confirmed. The AM5 platform, which includes compatibility for the most recent I/O technologies like PCIe Gen 5.0 and DDR5, will enable AMD Ryzen 7000 Desktop CPUs. The Raphael “Ryzen 7000” family of desktop CPUs will be marketed and use a new Zen 4 core architecture.

We can expect the Ryzen 9 7950X to rock a 16-core and 32-thread configuration, the Ryzen 9 7900X to rock a 12-core and 24-thread configuration, the Ryzen 7 7700X to rock an 8-core and 16-thread configuration, and the Ryzen 5 7600X should rock a 6 core and 12-thread configuration based on the naming scheme. AMD hasn’t yet released any specifications or SKU details for each Ryzen 7000 Desktop CPU. It’s important to keep in mind that benchmarks for AMD’s Ryzen 7000 16-, 8-, and 6-core variants have leaked, so it’s safe to believe that this is the setup we are looking at.

The AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, which hasn’t been discussed because earlier rumours stated it will ship instead of the more expensive Ryzen 7 7800X SKU, is the most intriguing SKU on this list.

We may anticipate that the Ryzen 7 7700X and Ryzen 5 7600X will operate at a slightly more modest TDP range between 65 and 125W because a recent report stated that the top Ryzen 9 7000 SKUs will feature a 170W TDP at its normal voltage output. AMD might leave the opportunity to introduce more expensive Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 SKUs with greater TDPs and clock speeds in the future.

Since AMD wants to first appeal to high-end enthusiasts, they will probably debut the higher TDP variants on the X670 (E) and B650 (E) platforms before switching to the TDP-optimized mainstream components following year. The Ryzen 7000 Desktop CPUs from AMD are anticipated to go on sale on September 15, 2022, according to a previously leaked slide.
