FIA plans for more rule changes in Formula One

The Formula One Weekend format is going to undergo alterations from the British Grand Prix. The FIA is strategizing to make some more alterations in the Formula One as the weekend schedule will be changed from the British GP onwards. The British Grand Prix is on July 3rd, 2022, and fans will be able to see the changes made by FIA in that race.

The changes made by FIA

The changes made by FIA, whenever they are approved to see the press conference of drivers happen on Thursday for one hour, there will be the presence of 10 drivers, who will join in. Also, this meeting will be divided into two 30-minutes’ meeting each, and the drivers will also be parted in this case, i.e., five drivers each will attend the respective phases.

In addition to that, those drivers who will not take part in this meeting, will be expected to join in a media meeting on Thursday, which will be coordinated by their group. The press conference of the team principles is set to stay on Saturday in the morning which will go on for one hour and 30 minutes, and after that, there will be free practice.

The Drivers’ meeting earlier took place on Friday

Earlier, at the start of the 2022 season, drivers’ press took place on Friday, as well as the morning free practice took place then, but at present, it denoted the change from their past to put the schedule on Thursdays.

With the meetings being denoted to Thursdays, the conference will take place 23 hours before the FP1 starts. However, the alteration of the same is dependent upon FIA World Motor Sport Council, though the normal will be supported as well. It is to be seen what are the actual changes that FIA bring to the Formula One.
