    The Phenomenal Golf Tournament: Canelo Alvarez and Pep Guardiola vs. Michael Phelps and Ben Roethlisberger

    Canelo Alvarez continues to be controversial by participating in non-boxing events and is now participating in a golf legends tournament called Icon Series 2022 with great athletes such as Pep Guardiola, Michael Phelps, Ben Roethlisberger, and Harry Kane. 

    The legendary tournament will take place from June 30th to July 1st at the Liberty National Golf Club, which is open to fans. Other well-known names that are all golf fans, such as Liverpool soccer player James Milner and baseball player Ivan Rodriguez, will also appear.

    Canelo’s excitement for the Icon Series 2022 tournament

    “I am excited to represent Mexico as part of the ROTW (Rest of the World) team under Captain Els and can’t wait to compete against the U.S. team at such an iconic venue, Liberty National,” stated Canelo for the organization.

    To participate in this tournament, these athletes must be considered “exceptionally talented” and “born winners with competition running through their veins” at the top of the field. 

    Similarly, the organization emphasizes that their “success transcends beyond their sport and they are fiercely passionate about golf”, so not only in leisure moments with other personalities. No beginner can see a golf club seeking victory.

    Who Shall Take Over Captaincy of the Icon Series 2022?

    The two teams are headed by two former professional golfers. On the American side, Fred Couples will be the leader of the team, and as for the ‘Rest of the World’, former world number one South African Ernie Els will guide the personality in a variety of play styles.
