Diablo Immortal coming to PC and Mobile on June 2nd, 2022

There has been a lot of speculation about the release date, but it appears that we now have official word from the devs. Diablo Immortal was first unveiled in 2018 and has been in the works for more than four years.

The game is one of the most eagerly awaited releases in recent memory, and it will be a free-to-play video game aimed mostly at mobile devices; however, Blizzard plans to release the massively multiplayer online action role-playing game on PC as well.

Players begin their adventure in the town of Wortham, working for Deckard Cain, a recurring and major character in the Diablo franchise, between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III.

On Monday, April 25th, 2022, Activision Blizzard conducted a YouTube Premier event where they revealed the Diablo Immortal release date. On Thursday, June 2nd, 2022, the game will be released.

To top it off, Diablo Immortal will be released on PC as well as mobile (as an open beta) and will feature cross-platform play. Controller support will be available for mobile devices, and it will be added to the PC version, along with mouse and keyboard support.

Talking more about the cross-play feature, Blizzard, in a blog post said: “(Players) will be able to take the fight to the Burning Hell’s legions on PC upon launch with full cross-play and cross-progression support. During the PC Open Beta period, we will continue to collect player feedback, make changes, and fine-tune this version of Immortal until we feel it delivers a finalized experience for all courageous adventurers.”

If you haven’t already done so, you can do so before the game’s June 2nd release date. Diablo Immortal will be a free-to-play game with eight huge zones, each with its own distinct aesthetic and content.
