Buttler can score 1000 runs with the form he is in right now. Jos Buttler has also broken the record of Chris Gayle. He has held the record of scoring 436 runs in the first seven matches in IPL 2011. Gayle had later mustered 608 runs in 12 matches in 2011 and piled up three fifties and two hundred.
Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and David Warner scored 400 and more runs in the first seven matches of an IPL season. Kohli mustered 433 runs in the 2016 IPL. David Warner shattered Virat Kohli’s records and reached the 400 run mark halfway in 2019.
