Brilliant knock by Shivan Dube and Robin Uthappa
The first thing in the match, which paved the path toward CSK breaking their losing streak was the impressive knocks by Shivam Dube and Robin Uthappa. In the first 10 overs, the score was around 60, but in the last 10 overs, these two just destroyed every bowler that came their way. Terrific bowling by CSK’s Maheesh Theekshana
Srilankan youngster Maheesh Theekshana also played a significant role in leading CSK towards victory. Though wickets started to fall at infrequent intervals for RCB, they were chasing well. In that situation, the 21-year-old took 4 wickets and showcased terrific off-break spin bowling to all.
Bravo getting rid of Karthik
When all of the RCB batters got back to the pavilion, only Dinesh Karthik was there being a lone wolf. He has been in good form this season, as he’s finishing well in all the matches for RCB. This time also, he was batting tremendously well, as he scored 34 of 14 deliveries with 2 fours and 3 sixes, and CSK fans were desperate to get him out. Soon their star bowler Bravo came and got out Dinesh Karthik with a catch out in the hands of skipper Jadeja.
