Luka Jovic might end his journey with Real Madrid soon, as reports state that Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of the club, doesn’t seem like to have the Serbian striker in his plans. Also this fact is more or less known to both Jovic and the club that they will part ways this summer, all they need is a good formula for that.
Clubs are approaching Jovic and various suitors have inquired about him since January, however no negotiations have taken place with the club till now.
Clubs interested for Luka Jovic
Earlier in January, Everton and Arsenal expressed their interest in the striker, and AC Milan emerged as a good suitor too. Addition to that, Borussia Dortmund were also monitoring the situation, but their primary target was to bring in a suitable replacement for Erling Haaland, who is going to leave the club soon. As per sources, the Bundesliga side is focusing on Karim Adeyemi from RB Salzburg.
Jovic’s contract with Real Madrid is valid till 2025, and it seems a bit hard to sell the player at this stage. The Spanish capital hasn’t loaned him out again, but are willing to have a purchase clause in the deal.
Ancelotti’s role in this regard
Luka Jovic joined the La Liga giants in 2019 for 60 million euros and has played only 49 games till now, spending 1487 minutes in the field. He has managed to score three goals and four assists till now.In the present 2021-22 season, Luka Jovic has only played 473 minutes in the field, with his last match for the club coming on February 12. The other 18 Madrid players have certainly played more than him. Hence Jovic is willing to leave Madrid soon, and it is hoped that he will be signed by a new European club soon as well.
