The continued servicing and development on Babylon’s Fall will not be diminished, according to publisher Square Enix and developer Platinum Games. Season 2 is “practically complete,” and future seasons are already in the works, so the game will continue to receive updates.
“We will continue to provide new content for the game and make improvements based on player feedback, striving to keep existing players playing and to attract newcomers,” said the development team in a statement. “We would like to thank all Sentinels already enjoying the world of Babylon’s Fall, as we look forward to welcoming more of you in the future.”
A thorough roadmap was also supplied by the development team. Version 1.1.0 will be released on March 22 with a big content update that includes a new faction called Molzamites, a new campaign chapter called “Resurgence,” and a new map called “Tower of Babylon: Blockade Zone.” There’s also a new game mode called “Gauntlet” and a new forge function called “Refine,” which allows players to re-roll up to one enchantment on an item.
From March 29 to April 26, there will be a limited-time collaboration event with Nier: Automata, where players can obtain 9S and 2B costumes from the game. Version 1.1.1 will be released on April 26th, and it will include a new Resurgence plot, as well as a new limited-time event called the Februus Festival, as well as new missions, armour, and bosses. The team will continue to work on topics like graphical tweaks, weapon balance, and performance optimization in future releases.
