Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Flies hits big on the third day of its theatrical release and carries on with its domination at the box office. It started with Rs. 3.55 crores on Friday, accumulated 8.50 crores on Saturday, and banged 15.10 crores on Sunday. The film’s first-weekend gathering stands at Rs. 27.15 crores, displaying above 300 percent upgrade on the third day of its release.

The movie casts some big names. Starring Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, and Pallavi Joshi in main roles, the movie has been written by Agnihotri and Saurabh M Pandey.
The Movie Hits Big in the Box Office
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the numbers for the film. Talking about the movie’s fantastic growth, he wrote:

Agnihotri’s peer in the movie industry, filmmaker Hansal Mehta, commended him for the movie even though their ideologies contradict.
He took to his social media channel to congratulate his colleagues for his success outside the system on his own terms. Despite his ideological differences with Agnihotri, Mehta spoke of commending him for his sheer brilliance.
The Kashmir Flies focuses on the persecution and exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the initial stages of the 1990s at the hands of separatists. The movie hit more than 630 screens. The tremendous success is especially due to word-of-mouth publicity.
