    After beating Sri Lanka in the T20 series, India again made its mark by winning the first test against Sri Lanka. India won by a massive margin of 222 runs. The first test was Virat’s 100th Test and Ravindra Jadeja was the star of the show taking a total of 9 wickets and scoring above a century.

    India wrapped the game against Sri Lanka on Sunday. Although Virat Kohli had his landmark game still Jadeja was the player who will be remembered for his performance. He scored a perfect 175 runs unbeaten and his bowling figure was 9/87.

    R Ashwin broke Kapil Dev’s record

    R Ashwin broke legendary player Kapil Dev’s record. Kapil Dev has 434 Test wickets and Ashwin surpassed this record by taking 435 test wickets against Sri Lanka

    Ashwin is also the highest wicket-taker against Sri Lanka with 50 wickets attached to his name.
