The PS4 and PS5 versions of God of War Ragnarok are set to be released sometime this year. The million-dollar question on every God of War fan’s mind is when this year will be. That is an excellent question.
Many PlayStation enthusiasts are hoping to get their hands on the game this holiday season for a variety of reasons. Given that its predecessor was released in May, it’s a valid query. It’s much more logical now that the game has been scheduled for release in June by a store.
The retailer in question is a tiny regional retailer in Chile, so it’s not Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, or any other major retailer that would be difficult to overlook if the game was accidentally marked with a release date or a more accurate release window. According to the Chilean shop, the game will be released in June, however, the specific date is not specified on the title’s page.
This might serve as a stand-in for the first half of the year. Furthermore, it is not unheard of for smaller retailers to spread incorrect information. This is sometimes done by accident, but more often it is done deliberately to attract attention and clicks. Whatever the situation may be, this is currently the sole merchant saying that the game will be released in June.
If the game is set to arrive in June, a release date must be announced soon. However, there are speculations that the large PlayStation State of Play will take place in March, for what it’s worth. If this occurs, we may learn about the God of War sequel’s release date as soon as next month.
God of War Ragnarok is now in production for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, with a release date set for later this year.
