Dying Light 2 to get 60+ FPS VRR Mode on Xbox Series X and DLSS Improvements on the PC version with its upcoming Patch

The upcoming Dying Light 2 patches for PC, PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox Series X|S include certain tweaks and new features, according to developer Techland. Techland has already released multiple hotfixes for its open-world Zombie game since its premiere last week. The Polish developer has now shared more information on impending patches for the game on Twitter, with the first one set to be released later this week.

On PC, an upcoming patch will include DLSS improvements as well as crash fixes. Furthermore, this patch tries to fix an issue that could result in endless black screens in a variety of situations. Techland also mentioned that the team is working on key binding difficulties, as well as story block fixes and aesthetic flaws. A future version will also include backup saves and other video options.

Meanwhile, this week’s PlayStation patch will fix a problem that caused periodic screen flickering on the PlayStation 5. In addition to repairs for crashes, balance improvements, AI Visual changes, and connection stability, this patch will provide several performance optimizations.

Players of Dying Light 2 on Xbox Series X will be pleased to learn that a 60+ FPS Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) mode will be enabled in this week’s new patch. The forthcoming Xbox patch will address issues with connection stability, game crashes, and indefinite black screens, just like the impending hotfix for PlayStation platforms. In addition, the new update will address some instances where AI may become stuck in geometry, among other things.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is available globally now for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
