One of the irritating things about WhatsApp we all might have experienced is when you transfer your chat history from an iPhone to any Android smartphone or vice versa. This is extremely confusing and painful as you have to adopt external means, buy software to do so and at last, if you cannot do so you lose the entire chat history.
This is 2022 is really frustrating from WhatsApp which seems to change finally! Yes, it has been widely reported that Facebook aka Meta’s WhatsApp messenger will further extend the functionality to use it as cross-platform and that is really significant. Already you are able to migrate your chat history from iOS to Samsung Devices or iOS to Pixel devices.
However, broader support from all iOS to all Android devices have not been seen yet though as WABetainfo reports in the WhatsApp beta for Android 22.214.171.124 the feature has been spotted to migrate your chat history from Android to iOS.
Still the same has not been seen yet on iOS, but the new WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.2.74 is being rumoured to provide the functionality to import your chat history from Android finally!
As we can see in this screenshot, WhatsApp will ask you the permission to import the chat history before starting the process, confirming the fact that the feature is coming to both iOS and Android.
