Xavi to Demand five new signings if he becomes the upcoming Barcelona Coach

The managerial situation at Barcelona isn’t quite correct at the moment, rather a bit confusing. Despite Joan Laporta’s public claim regarding consequences after loss, he seems to stick with Ronald Koeman, who perhaps have forgotten how to be on the winning side. In this perspective a name comes up who could replace Koeman, is Xavi.

Xavi, the top name to replace Koeman?

Several names have emerged as a replacement for Koeman, and Xavi seems to be the hot favorite on the list. If he’s finally appointed, he will demand five new signings from Laporta and company. Reportedly, there hasn’t been any particular mention but Xavie does have a clear idea of the profile he desires.

Check out his Demand List Here

The wishlist comprises a creative midfielder to be able to play the positional football applying 4-3-3. The club’s current midfield consists of Frankie de Jong, Pedri, Nico, Sergio Busquets, and Gavi which is surely strong but lacks a creative presence.

The second additions to the wishlist are two fullbacks and Xavi is pretty sure of the profile he’s looking for. One of the picks needs to be a versatile choice, be it David Alaba or Sergi Roberto whole the other pick could be a more offensive option like Dani Alves or Jordi Alba.

The club massively lacks a winger who’s a dribbling specialist and that itself comes third in Xavi’s demands. Antony might be a fine choice that Barcelona is working on. However, the deal is yet too far to be finalized.

Lastly, Xavi desires a center-forward, which is quite obvious though. Current strikers of the club include injury-prone Sergio Aguero and Luuk de Jong. Joan Laporta eyes Erling Haaland, which is not doable right at the moment.

The list further foes on as Xavi might also request the exit of one of the veterans from the team. He even is okay with the departure of Ousmane Dembele who doesn’t fit the positional play strategy. He’s more into counter-attacking football. The Frenchman’s deal expires on June 2022 and his departure might be much early than the fans had expected.
