The club announced this news on Saturday and this has been the first signing of East Bengal under the reign of head coach, Manolo Diaz. Besides, the red and yellow army has also appointed the former Castilla boss Diaz of Real Madrid as the new coach for the upcoming campaign.

The 29-year-old Amir Dervisevic came to SC East Bengal from the Slovenian club NK Maribor. The foreign club has been hugely successful in their domains, being a 15-time Solvennian Premier League winner. He was there at the club for 8 years, and appeared for 161 games, registering 18 goals. The central midfielder was an important member of the team and helped his club in emerging victoriously in three championship titles.
