There have been a lot of expensive transfers this summer across the Premier League. However not all the clubs have been successful when it comes to their outgoing. But spending so much money even in the post-covid situation is remarkable.
Because of the initial strike of coronavirus, there have been no games for some months, and eventually, many clubs are still facing financial issues. Leicester City comes fifth in the list of biggest spendings among the premier league clubs this summer. They made a good amount of profit by moving three players including Riyad Mahrez, Harry Maguire to Manchester City and Ben Chilwell to Chelsea, which summer up to be a massive amount of 180 million pounds.
Also by making a good amount of profit, they did spend on players as well. They bought Patson Daka from Red Bull Salzburg, Jannik Vestergaard from Southampton, and Boubakary Soumare from Lille, making a good amount of spending of 55 million pounds.
West Ham also spent on players to develop themselves in the EPL. They signed defender Kurt Zouma from Chelsea, and attacker Nikola Vlasic from CSKA Moscow, making the spending 55 million pounds.
Not only does it end here. They signed Craig Dawson from Watford for a small amount and also signed midfielder Alex Kral of Spartak Moscow, and PSG’s stopper Alphonse Areola, making an all total amount of spending fee being 63.3 million pounds.
Third in this list, marks the name of Manchester City, which has spent a total amount of 100 million pounds on this summer transfer. Though they didn’t buy many players which summed up to get a total amount of a hundred thousand pounds. They executed only one transfer, which is expected to be the right choice.
They got Jack Grealish for this massive amount, which also became a record of being the most expensive transfer for a British player, ever. Also, they tried to sign Harry Kane, but Tottenham didn’t show much interest in the deal.
The second name in this sequence lists the name of the Red Devils of football, i.e. Manchester United. At first, they bought Tom Heaton for free and then Jacob Ranchi for an impressive amount of 73 million pounds. Following that transfer, they again executed a good amount of transfer which was 41 million pounds for Raphael Varane.
And at last, they executed a unique transfer which catered to the whole football world. They brought back Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United, for an amount of only 12.9 million pounds, making total spending of 126.9 million pounds.

They executed 6 major signings this summer including Albert Sambi Lokonga, Ben White, Aaron Ramsdale, Nuno Tavares, Martin Odegaard, and Takehiro Tomiyasu, making total spending of a mammoth amount of 156.8 million pounds.
