Real Madrid has to still wait for the PSG striker, Kylian Mbappe, as the Ligue 1 giants are still not satisfied with the transfer money, offered by Real. Madrid offered two more bids for the Frenchman last week. As per the reports, the Spanish capital was ready to provide 200 million euros. However, Paris Saint Germain decided not to sell Mbappe. They would rather go for losing Mbappe for free.
Strategy of PSG
Paris Saint Germain is strategizing on keeping Mbappe to their club. Even Real got ready to offer a mammoth amount of 200 million euros, but still, the French capital won’t let him go. It seems like they will set him free, with his contract ending next summer.
PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino said that Kylian Mbappe is one of the best, and belongs among the most important players at present. He is in their team which is certainly a gift to them, he added.
Not accepting this massive amount of bids, is indeed a remarkable decision by PSG. They are not immune to the financial conditions, which aroused due to the pandemic. They faced a large amount of 124.9 million euros in the 2019/20 campaign.
What will Mbappe do in this condition?
It is obvious now that Mbappe and Real Madrid both will wait for some time, at least for January of the next year. Then, the Frenchman will have only a few months left in his contract, and will certainly go on a pre-contract with Los Blancos.
But it is now for sure that PSG won’t sell Mbappe to Real for any amount of sum. Money isn’t a big deal for Real Madrid as they went for 222 million euros for Neymar in 2017, which is still a world record.
