We are just a few weeks away from the start of the 2021-22 football season. The clubs have already started signing new players to build the squad for the next season.
Premier League club Liverpool has now revealed their new away jersey for the 2021-22 season. The jersey draws inspiration from the cult classic away kit worn by the club in the 1996-97 season.
“We’re a trendsetting city, we don’t follow the rules – we make them,” Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones said.
“I think the fans will love this one. It’s a perfect reflection of the city and you can see the inspiration throughout the design with a throwback to the 90s.”
Just like the club’s home kit for the 2021-22 season, the away kit has also been made from recycled plastic bottles.
