With the latest version of Telegram’s Android, iOS and desktop apps, users of the Telegram encrypted messaging app can turn their group voice chats into video conference calls.

In this release, group video calls are limited to the first 30 people who join voice chat. However, Telegram said this number will increase “soon” as voice chat expands to support live events and other features. New users can participate in group video calls on mobile phones, tablets and computers.
