Juventus is planning to get Cristiano Ronaldo out of their books soon, according to Duncan Castles. The significant reason behind this step, is Financial Fair Play problems, that even most of the clubs are facing after the Covid-19 pandemic has hit the world.
The Portuguese legend joined Juventus back in the 2018-19 season and has played for his club for 3 consecutive seasons. Though he has been unsuccessful in giving his club a trophy but has maintained his consistency though out his appearances. At present, Juventus plan to not renew the contract with Ronaldo, because of the unstable financial condition they are facing.
Ronaldo is a Burden of Compensation
According to the reports, the club has stated Ronaldo as a burden of staggering wages, especially in this unstable economic condition. There have been strategies to sell the 36-year-old superstar for a good sum of money.
Juventus is in plans to make a deal with another club for Ronaldo, to get him off their books, concerning the FFP reasons, and if they are unable to sell, there’s a plan not to renew the contract with him at least. Juventus will never announce this statement to the public, or any social media, but reports suggest that this is the plan of the club not to sign in CR7 again, and find a place that is acceptable to him.

Castles also said that Ronaldo has a massive salary, which Massimiliano Allegri, who has returned to his club as the manager’s post and can spend the sum in different areas. Allegri will not say this publicly as well, but this would be his ultimate preference to spend Ronaldo’s salary to different areas, for now, he added.

Juve may plan to get rid of Ronaldo, but the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, bears a huge contribution to his club, starting from being the Serie A top scorer, and also being the Serie A’s best striker for the season 20-21.
