With several significant video game releases, including Hogwarts Legacy and Resident Evil 4, 2023 is off to a strong start. The PlayStation VR 2 was also released during this period. The constant stream of new video games doesn’t appear to be slowing down either, as April is predicted to be another exciting month for releases on all the major platforms.
The video games available in April cover a wide range of genres and offer both single-player and multiplayer options. There are still plenty of video games for fans to get their teeth into this month, including major releases from some of gaming’s most well-known franchises, even though there are no 100+ hour open-world epics debuting.

Meet Your Maker
Behaviour Interactive, the studio that created the wildly successful Dead by Daylight, has a new IP called Meet Your Maker. In this post-apocalyptic first-person shooter, lone players or two-player teams must attempt to sneak into enemy outposts created by other players to steal valuable resources from their cores.
Defending players can construct their outposts as mazes and fortify them with guards, blocks, and traps. The player receives more resources from both building and raiding, which they can then use to further develop their outposts. In addition, the game will be available from day one as one of the monthly PlayStation Plus games, which should help the online community expand quickly. Meet Your Maker is an exciting prospect for those interested in measuring themselves against other players because Behaviour Interactive has shown it knows how to make an engaging online game.

The first three Battle Network games, including both versions of the third game, are included in the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection’s first volume. The venerable MegaMan, NetNavi, and Lan Hikari are controlled by the players. EXE, using a grid-based side-by-side combat system. Advanced Wars 1+2
Re-released on the Game Boy Advance, Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is a remake of the first two video games in the series. In a turn-based grid combat system, players command the Orange Star Army as they face off against the opposition. Players must control their units while taking advantage of the terrain and different types of units.
Dead Island 2
After many years of delays, the Dead Island sequel that fans have been waiting for is finally scheduled to release in April. The zombie-killing action RPG places players on a gorgeous, sunny island once more and gives them missions to complete while attempting to survive this outbreak. The bright environment adds to the game’s over-the-top, feel-good combat and is comparatively uncommon for the genre. The evolving zombies and challenging boss encounters in Dead Island 2 make it anything but a relaxing beach game.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
After its release, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order received a lot of positive reviews. Cal Kestis, a Jedi Padawan who set out to restore the destroyed Jedi order, served as the protagonist of the story. The second game in what is probably a trilogy of Star War: Survivor games takes place five years after the events of the first game.
