The young Max Verstappen along with his Red Bull, have again emerged victoriously, and this has been the record-breaking 10th Grand Prix in a row for them. They are celebrating this Sunday after the Dutchman won a 10th consecutive race by finishing first at the Italian Grand Prix.

This means Verstappen has broken the F1 record for consecutive wins, overtaking Sebastian Vettel’s record. Max Verstappen eventually started second on the grid and, following an abandoned start due to Yuki Tsunoda’s engine failure on the formation lap, Verstappen tried to overtake pole-sitter Carlos Sainz at the first corner. But, the Ferrari held on to the lead, to the delight of the Monza crowd.

Sainz was able to hold off Verstappen for 14 laps, but the Dutchman eventually pulled through, and he didn’t look back. The world championship leader has again and again proved his efficiency, and at this age, he has proved himself as one of the greatest of all time.

    Max Verstappen in this regard

The champion, Max Verstappen, said that he never would have believed it was possible (to win ten races in a row), but they had to work for it today, and that made it a lot more fun. He also said that they had good pace, but they had a lot of top speed, so it was hard to get close and get the move into Turn One, so he had to force him into a mistake. Luckily, it came at some point where he locked up. He tried to stay patient, then just had to pick his moment.

Perez was involved in an almighty battle behind Verstappen for the podium places, as Charles Leclerc nearly ran into the back of Sainz on the final lap in the fight for third. George Russell took fifth from Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton, who used an alternative tyre strategy to finish in sixth despite a late collision with Oscar Piastri’s McLaren. Alex Albon gave Williams their joint-best result of the season with seventh, ahead of Lando Norris, Fernando Alonso and Valtteri Bottas.

A proud moment for Red Bull as well

It has also been a proud moment for Red Bull, who have still won every race this season, was the fact that Checo Perez managed to come through and take second place.

That left the two Ferrari cars fighting for a spot on the Monza podium, with Sainz holding off Charles Leclerc to take third. At the top of the drivers’ championship, Verstappen now leads Perez by 145 points, meaning he is closing in on a third consecutive championship thanks to this 10th consecutive win.
