Barcelona is reportedly gearing up for a staggering return from Neymar, and PSG has put a €52 million price tag on him. The French club has let the Brazilian star know that he doesn’t appear in their future plans.

And, the reports suggest, there are chances for his return to his old club on loan with an option to buy the deal.

    Neymar to return at Barcelona?

Provides Barcelona’s well-known financial issues, they would at first take Neymar on a loan with a cost set for a permanent transfer on €51.8m. The 31-year-old star is reportedly very interested in getting back at Camp Nou. According to the club, Neymar’s huge commercial value has added up to the sum.

During his earlier span with Barcelona, Neymar had netted the ball 105 times in his 186 appearances. In 2017, he moved to PSG, where he scored 118 goals in his 173 appearances for the French club.

In 2015, the Brazilian star won the Champions League with Barcelona, which he was unable to achieve with PSG. New PSG coach Luis Enrique and football advisor Luis Campos are currently looking to strengthen their team with quick play and a younger profile of players, and that’s why Neymar’s style might not fit into their desired style of the game.

To ensure the deal, the Spanish club would need to sell a number of players to keep on the right side of La Liga rules. Reports have also built a slight connection with Neymar’s move to Chelsea; however, the chances seem to be highly unlikely as of now.

    What’s his say on this?

As further reports have suggested, Neymar feels it’s too early to move to the Saudi Pro League. He has had many offers. However, he’s willing to be at his best to play for Brazil at the 2026 North America Football Worldcup.

The Brazilian is also interested to keep playing in the Champions League, but chances are high his game time will be limited under Enrique’s leadership.

The imminent completion of Marco Verratti’s shift from PSG to Al-Hilal for a massive €43m. It would help Barcelona’s cause as they’re willing to try and pull out a loan deal for Neymar first.
